INGREDIENTS:
- ghee (घी)- 1Tbsp
- bay leaf (तेज पत्ता)- 1pc
- sugar (चीनी)- 1tsp (optional)
- salt (नमक)- 2tsp (or to taste)
- chitol fish (चितोल मछली)- 4pcs
- cumin powder (ज़ीरा पाउडर)- 1tsp
- turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर)- 2tsp
- mustard oil (सरसों का तेल)- ½ & ¼cup
- coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर)- 1tsp
- tomato paste (टमाटर का पेस्ट)- 2½Tbsp
- green & red chilli (हरी और लाल मिर्च)- 2ea.
- garam masala powder (गरम मसाला पाउडर)- 1tsp
- ginger & garlic paste (अदरक और लहसुन का पेस्ट)- 2Tbsp
- cashew -10g & raisins- 25g paste (काजू और किशमिश का पेस्ट)
- kashmiri red chilli powder (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च का पाउडर)- 1½tsp
- onion- 270g & green chilli- 2pcs paste (प्याज और हरी मिर्च का पेस्ट)
- clove (लौंग)- 3pcs
- cinnamon (दालचीनी)- 1½” long, 2pcs

Marinating frozen fish with lime juice for ~15min, helps to reduce the bad smell of the fish.
