- 2tsp salt (or to taste)

- 2tsp red chilli powder
- 2tsp turmeric powder
- 100g chopped onions
- 1tsp pickle oil (optional)
- 1tsp coriander powder
- 450g brinjal (small size)
- 2tbsp tamarind purée water
- 2tsp mango pickles & masala
- 10g chopped ginger, 5g garlic & 2pcs green chilli
