- ½cup mustard oil
- 1tsp cumin powder
- 1tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1tsp turmeric powder
- 1tsp red chilli powder
- 1tsp coriander powder
- 2tbsp gram flour (besan)
- ~8-10pcs fresh curry leaves
- 600g taro root (gathi kochu)
- 1tsp carom seeds (ajwain seeds)
- 2pcs slitted green chilli (optional)
- 1tbsp dry mango powder (amchur powder)
